When I was 28, I told myself I would pay all of my debt off by the time I turned 33. Since then, I have not paid a single, red cent, – and in fact – I have added more debt. A lot more debt. I’ve kind of been on a…Que sera, sera vibe…that was until I got sick back in 2024. Call it a wake up call or a dose of reality, but it has been made clear that being financially free would have saved me a lot of money, energy, and stress. I am turning 33 this year, and leading up to my birthday, I was reminded of my debt free goal. Back then, I told myself 5 years would be enough. Well, now I have 1 year to make it happen because Debt Free by 34 doesn’t sound as good. Let’s see what I can do.
